On the ship now and grateful we only have a few more days. For my family of 5, this has been a terrible experience. We took our 14 year d daughter to the clinic to make sure she didn’t have appendicitis and got a bill for $2,500!! We just got off the SilverSea Spirit, from Lisbon to Southampton, our fourth and DEFINITELY our LAST time on SilverSea.. Physically the boat needs to be gutted; it is dated and ugly. The ship is lovely and the suite was spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a terrific job as our room was always impeccably clean. First time cruisers and picked this one as duration was enough as a test run and it was affordable bearing in mind it was half term in UK. Knew it was a big ship but at full capacity the buffet and restaurants struggled at breakfast time. Would have liked better food hygiene measures in the buffet in view of number of children .We found there wasn't enough seating in the bar areas. Entertainment
