   I ordered a Sur-ron Light Bee through Daniel at Sur-ron Motor. The bike arrive fast and well packed, assembly was easy and quality I found faultless. The Sur-ron is powerful and I cant find any hills that it cant tackle. Its quiet and a lot of fun, there is lots of info on Sur-ron on Youtube and Forums to learn more about how good this bike is. Every time I have asked a question or needed assistance, Sur-ron Motor respond so fast and nothing seems to be to hard or an issue for them. The service they provide is getting hard to find and this is our second Bike we have bought off them.

    We are having a blast on the SurRon Ligjt Bee’s. We got two of them and head up the high country exploring. We get lots of strange looks from the noisy cousins that’s for sure! We get about 1.5 hours of hard riding up and down very steep hills. Would be great if they regenerated some power back to the battery on the downhills though. We are both in our late 50’s and not large people so suited us, but if you are on heavier side you would need to go up to the larger version. SurRon Motor provide a great service and very responsive to questions.

    Received my Light Bee X Last week. (Jan 2022). Few changes from last model. New brake calapers with green anodised accents. KKE Suspension with Preload adjust, Rebound and Compression adjustment. Being a seasoned motorcyclist and veteran mountain biker the components are great quality. Orange, Black and White sticker kit for this year. Very KTM like. Very nimble bike that you just want to do silly stuff on. All in all quality product. Loving it. And shipping was fast despite being just after Christmas.

    Have done just over 200 km on the bike now, with an average ride time of 2 hour.
    The battery has not dropped under 65% each time.
    the terrane traveled is back country fire trails, with quite steep inclines, the bike has no trouble powering up the steepest slopes.
    the bike is light enough to lift over the odd dead fall or under wire fences with ease. the bike is supper quiet and dose not disturb live stock, dogs or the odd bush walker.
    great fun, well worth the investment.

    Bought surron light bee x about a month ago, ado purchased a functional pedal kit to make her more street legal in a sense but bike rips, ride around 40k round trip every day and no problems. Shipping was extremely impressive 4 days from CA to KY. Highly recommend definetley worth the price

    The bike has been great. My only piece of constructive feedback is that the bike took off out of my hand when I was showing a friend. It did a back flip and broke the speedometer, horn and sport/recreation mode, piece on the left handle bar. Additionally, I do not recommend riding
    the bike if the battery is at 15% or less. Overall, it’s a fantastic bike!

    This bike exceeded all my expectations and I was stoked about before I got it from my wife for my wedding gift (significantly better than a watch ngl). I have put over 400 miles on my surron. I take my dogs with me on mountain bike trails and we have a blast. The dogs are more excited to see the bike than I get when I am riding it. It can fit anywhere a mountain bike can. I also started taking it to work on back roads and trails. It’s very freeing to be on a road one minute and a trail the next. I use it almost every day and I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants an e-bike but doesn’t want to pedal. It goes plenty fast enough if you are taking it on bike trails and such. When you get on roads it’s easy to top it out but honestly if I were to have go faster I’d probably get in trouble one way or another. The only downside is the range, you wish it could get 100+ miles per charge but it’s still an incredibly impressive battery and motor. Highly recommend getting this bike!

    I love my Sur Ron X. The bike is decently fast when unrestricted. I ride it on the street and it can maintain pace with city traffic just fine. I love the versatility it allows me when commuting and going for leisure rides. The only reason its not a 5 star purchase is that for the price I think some of the components are a bit cheap. My front forks/ fender are a tad misaligned, which is visually distracting when rolling straight. Additionally the pegs and tires are a bit budget, and could be improved for the US market. Overall really fun bike that will truly shine if you modify it a bit.

    Deducted one star because mine came with a decent sized gash in the seat bracket and Sur Ron Motor basically said “get some spray paint or a sharpee”. For a 4.5k bike they should have at least offered some kind of credit or had better customer empathy.

The bike is running well and so far is everything we had hoped. We use the bike for mustering cattle, and they will need some adjusting to the ‘new normal’. The power, ease of use, simplicity to transport and battery life are all big pluses at the moment. Here is to hoping it will also stand the test of time.

    It’s been great so far! There are a few things I can mention. It started electrical popping when I did a burnout, which was scary. It’s done fine with moisture so far, but the waterproofing is pretty jank with that zip tied rubber cup and not all the wires and plugs being sealed. It’d be nice if the breaker and things were behind a panel or something. Proper operation and maintenance should be absolutely front and center, clearly stated and well translated in layman’s terms. These things are expensive and not everyone is going to be as meticulous as I am. A light switch and some “petals” would be cool too. That’s all! Oh! And maybe a petition or something to keep regulators out of our hair.

    Shipping was amazing came in like two days. Tried to call with no answer just had some questions. Also the bike I ordered was suppose to be the black addition. The receipt stated black addition. I received a bike with orange graphics on it. That was the reason for trying to call them. After some research it sounds like what I got is the same except graphics.     Quick delivery to Bay Area California. Roughly 7 days when ordered during the holiday. Set up was quick besides getting the front axel off the pallet. Would recommend watching YouTube videos on how to unbox it and assemble.

    Only road it for 4 miles so far and it was pretty fun. Main reason why I purchased it was for commuting on military bases. Sadly there is no military discount for this product in case you were wondering. Will update review after spending more time on the bike.

    Best purchase I’ve ever made. If it’s not raining im riding. I ordered the 34a battery therefore I got the 2022 model. Just happy I didn’t get the red rear shock spring. I did receive it with saw dust all over the battery cover, a small paint chip in the frame (bare metal), and a portion of the kickstand was worn to bare metal, along with the bike saying 27mph max. But said 0.0miles. Not sure what all that was about but I’m not gonna take off stars from the product over the shipping and storage situation. I’ve installed the kaniwaba kit which limits my torque and caps my speed at 20mph. I’ve gone 38.8 miles with an hour of trail riding in sport mode (maybe 6 miles) the rest was 20mph kaniwaba mode and I’ve got 29% battery left.

    Ok the surron. WOW. I have not had this much fun with my pants on. For real. This bike is an absolute blast to ride. OMG. I can’t stop riding it. I love it so much that I’ve already sold 2 of my gas bikes. Nothing against gas but the silence of the bike is Uber stealth and has unlocked so many places for me to ride. With out hurting anyone’s feelings. People are mostly curious about what it is and I am more than happy to tell everybody I meet.

    Surron Motor shipped quickly and delivery was well arranged and painless. No complaints aside from lack of technical documentation that came with the bike….but internet research (and even a video or two of Surron Motor’s) has mostly filled those holes (which are more on Surron’s shoulders IMO in any case). Hopefully Surron Motor can fill in on any future holes I might run across. I have a pic as I completed assembling and installing (different pegs and fender, removing decals) but don’t see how to post it.

    I bought the Sur Ron X, this one being the 2nd electric type bike/Moto. With that said I paid more for my e-bike and it’s not 1/10th the machine this thing is!! What a blast. I plan to ride this to work as much as I can! It absolutely puts my other more expensive e-bike to shame. Wish I would have pulled the trigger on the Sur Ron from the get go, but lesson learned. Now it’s time to ride. And to be fair, my other bike yielded about 4 rides for approx 80 miles and since then it’s been a darn headache after headache! I don’t anticipate the Sur Ron having issues like I did with my way overpriced e-bike!!

    OMG! What a terrific product! I’m a 67 yr old, disabled Iraq war vet who purchased the Sur Ron X bike on the recommendation of my son who purchased one himself two years ago. I thought it would be a “fun gimmick” to connect and bond even closer with my son. How wrong I was! This is FOR ME too!! Although I won’t be using it in an aggressive, super-sport, racing fashion as my son does, I find it incredibly relaxing and very enjoyable as I ride (with my camo from Kung Fu Graphics) gently through the woods, seeking wildlife and the calm of nature. I have absoluetly no regrets! This is truly amazing!!

    The packaging was very well done and assembly took me 1.5 – 2 hours. I am impressed with the quality. This is perfect for my intended use, that is to jump on and ride around my large yard and pasture. The pasture is a bit wet yet so haven’t had it out there but really fun to rip around my acre and a half yard. I’m a smaller guy at 5’8″ and it fits me very well except for standing I am a bit hunched over and will probably add bar risers to help that. One thing to point out is that my bike came with a basic orange graphics which are fine to me. I would of liked to know that because I thought the black edition had no graphics and I had already ordered a set. So I know have a set of graphics I really didn’t need. Great bike, I do recommend.

    This bike is amazing! There are the usual issues others report such as soft tires and terrible breaks. I think there should be an upgrade option for better breaks or a cheaper option to send the bike without breaks so that the buyer can upgrade them. They still function. Purchase was smooth, took about 2 weeks to receive the bike. Setup was easy. Only reason for 4 star is the breaks because you need to spend another 400 to upgrade. Another note is the head light. Please add a switch so that we don’t have to spend extra money for one. Outside of the breaks, this bike was worth every penny!

    Thanks Surron Motor, my new Light Bee has changed everything I thought about bike riding and products made in China. It is a quality piece of engineering and this model is the perfect combination of light weight and performance. I have owned dozens of on & off road motorcycles and currently have a 2020 ktm300tpi in my stable. As good as the KTM is, at 58 and a little creaky I struggle with the KTM in tight stuff, the Surron however is so light, nimble and so quick that I am doing tricks and jumps that I personally could never do on a full size bike. It can go pretty much anywhere with ease, my ten year old grandson can share the fun with me and the battery goes far longer than my or even his stamina can endure. It’s so much fun it should probably be illegal.

    I ordered this bike late Sunday and received it on Wednesday in Sacramento. I really appreciated receiving my order so quickly and this bike is just the best.
