WORCESTER— George G. Berthiaume, 51, died on Thursday, February 10, 2005, following a serious illness. He leaves behind three daughters: Amy, Crystal and Shawna Nygard; nine grandchildren: Michael, Dawn, Dylan, Ethan, Zachary, Isabella, Caleb, Coby and Georgie; his father: Arthur Berthiaume; his two sisters: Gloria Bryand and Rithaune Epstein; his three brothers: Arthur, John and CarlBerthiaume; two dogs: Wren and Porky, all of Worcester. He also leaves many other friends and family members. George was a member of St. Matthew’s Parish in Worcester. George was a "Jack of all trades" and could fix anything. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always there for anyone who needed help. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. The church services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. on February 15th at St. Matthew’s Parish located at 695 Southbridge St., Worcester. Burial will follow after the church mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of George Berthiaume to St. Matthew’s Parish Memorial Fund, 696 Southbridge St. George’s family has entrusted funeral arrangements to the GRAHAM, PUTNAM & MAHONEY FUNERAL PARLORS.

JOLY, MARCIUS P. 'UNCLE MO', age 82, of Maple St., Warren, died Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at R.I. Hospital following a long illness. He was the husband of 41 years to Lucia (O'Brien) Joly. Born in Warren a son of the late Ovid Joly and the late Delia (Mayhew) Joly he was a life long resident of Warren.He was a graduate of Warren High School class of '1939' and later attended URI. He was a member of the U.S. Naval Reserves for 28 years retiring in 1982 with the rank of Lt. Commander.Mr. Joly worked at Herreshoff's Ship Yard prior to being called to the military. He was the owner and operator of Marcius P. Joly Construction in Warren, for many years, retiring in 1986.He was a communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Church, a life member of the Retired Officers Association, a founding member of Touisset Volunteer Fire Department, in 1968 he served 25 years with the department. He enjoyed working with his hands, tending his garden and fruit orchard and traveling in his free time.Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Noela Kaiser of Warren.His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 8:30 A.M. from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at 'BIRCHREST', 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Jean Baptiste Church, 328 Main St., Warren, RI.
